Dull Grey: A Visual Novel Experience on Switch

Dull Grey on the Nintendo Switch offers a poignant exploration of youth, choice, and identity. This award-winning visual novel transports players through a world marked by foggy mountains and dull pipes, embodying the complexities of growing up. As a mother and son navigate their relationship, the true challenge lies in the decisions you will repetitively face. Each choice significantly impacts the son’s journey, asking you to weigh the importance of free will against a backdrop of emotional turbulence.

Choices Shape Identity in a Grey World

As the narrative unfolds, players must guide the son toward becoming either a lamplighter or a tallyman. Initially, the decision appears straightforward, but lingering doubt prompts deeper contemplation. The repetitive nature of the choices encourages reflection on what defines a person’s path. It’s not just about reaching an end but considering the nuances of each option, striking a balance between duty and personal aspiration.
