Social deduction at dinner

Drop the Act, Human is a PC social deduction game set at a country manor in autumn 1926. At shipping magnate Henry Blackwood’s 65th birthday dinner, spies have taken the places of guests, and Scotland Yard is trying to find them. Players take the roles of 1-2 detectives or 1-6 spies, with AI guests filling out the room.

As a spy, you study the guest you’ve replaced: their catchphrases, habits and relationships. When old friends, a former employer or a rival asks about the past, you need to answer in character. You also have secret tasks, such as slipping a code word into conversation while at least two guests are present, or sneaking to the gallery or dining room without being caught. A detective can single you out to perform a party trick in front of everyone, where one mistake can expose you.
