Dissident Hunt

Action-platforming in Berlin

Dissident Hunt is a PC action-platformer in which you play Horst Beckstein, a genetics lab assistant turned 1980s-style action hero. After dissidents raid his Berlin lab and leave him under a shelf of steroids, he survives with a mullet, a mustache, a machine gun and a cigar. He fights the Civil Society, often searching levels for a bomb to destroy an NGO’s mainframe.

Combat and weapons

The game plays like an early-’90s side-scroller. You can switch weapons at will and find 10 types of ammunition. Its cartoon graphics are gory and mostly hand-drawn.
