Discharge Pending

Horror in the hospital

Discharge Pending is a PC horror game set at Pescadero Medical Center during a national health emergency caused by Mimetic Perception Syndrome. You come to after the last transport has left, with ten floors, two elevators and a silent ward around you. The people with MPS see and hear things others can’t; in its late stages, the illness imitates patients, including their movements, memories and voices.

You make your way through the hospital while trying to judge what’s real. Anomalies might be a sound from an empty room, movement at the edge of your vision or a familiar detail that has changed. Some are sudden, while others are subtle enough to make you question what you noticed.
