Désiré

Journey into the World of Désiré

Désiré is a thought-provoking point-and-click adventure game that brings players into a stark black-and-white world. Follow the main character, Désiré, a boy marked by his emotional struggles and color blindness. As he navigates his environment, players are drawn into a narrative that both explores personal experience and critiques societal norms. Each scene serves as a canvas, illustrating a story of sorrow, discovery, and the quest for joy.

The Emotional Landscape of a Color-Blind Protagonist

At the heart of Désiré lies the exploration of emotions deeply rooted in the character’s experiences. The game begins with a poignant moment in the classroom, where a teacher’s question about drawing the sun reveals Désiré's internal struggles. His reply, "It's always night in my head," sets the tone for a journey that is as much about self-discovery as it is about illuminating the darkness he feels. This emotional depth invites players to empathize with his plight.
