DES: Hyperspace Racer

6DOF space racing

DES: Hyperspace Racer is a PC space racing game built around piloting a spacecraft through fully three-dimensional tracks. You race through gates suspended in open space, with no road or traditional up and down to guide you. Multiplayer races put pilots on the same track, and ships don't physically collide.

Flying the course

You control pitch, yaw, roll, strafing and thrust, managing momentum as you line up gates and change direction. Braking efficiently and keeping speed through aggressive turns are part of finding a fast line. The ship moves and rotates freely in three dimensions, so learning how it handles is central to each race.
