Protecting the Village in Deichgraf

In Deichgraf, a unique simulation game for PC, players step into the shoes of a Dike Warden in 16th-century East Frisia. Your village revolves around a central church, the hub for all construction. From essential buildings like farms and lumberyards to housing, each structure plays a crucial role in sustaining your community while also requiring careful management of raw materials. The balance between growth and resource requirement poses a continual challenge.

Mastering Resource Management

Resources drive your village forward, but they also come at a cost. Lumberjacks provide wood, farms yield food, and houses generate thalers, ensuring your growth. However, buildings consume materials, creating a tricky cycle. Managing these resources effectively is key to establishing a thriving village that won’t falter against the elements. Layered strategy becomes essential as you decide which projects to prioritize in your fight against rising waters.
