Cursed To Move is a single-player chess roguelite for PC, built around short tactical encounters on a board that becomes more dangerous as turns pass. You move familiar chess pieces, but upgrades give them powers outside the rules of ordinary chess. A pawn, bishop, or knight can become the center of your strategy as you attack from unusual angles, launch pieces across the board, or manipulate promotions.

Pieces and upgrades

Each run gives you choices about what to buy and how to spend your gold. Upgrades include abilities for pieces, combos, terrain, and single-use effects. Their interactions can turn a move into a chain reaction, so your army and tactics change according to the upgrades you collect and the options offered along the way.
