Crown of Thorns

Unraveling the Mystery in Crown of Thorns

Crown of Thorns invites players to explore a hauntingly empty castle that shifts between pristine beauty and chaotic decay. As time slips away, the castle reveals its secrets through a narrative steeped in mystery. Shadows of a forgotten past linger in every corner, and a sealed door at its heart teases the dangers that await. Crafted with RPGMaker, this atmospheric adventure game eschews combat, focusing instead on exploration, puzzles, and the gradual peeling back of a deep mystery.

Duality of Dimensions: Travel Between Worlds

Central to the game's intrigue is the unique mechanic of using portals to navigate between two distinct states of the castle. Players will traverse the same locations in both their untouched and ruined forms, each unveiling different clues. Every room tells a story, whether it's the elegant lines of the new library or the dark recesses of the ancient catacombs. This duality not only enriches exploration but keeps players engaged as they piece together the castle's past.
