Tactical Engagements in Contain

Contain is a first-person tactical shooter that prioritizes realism, strategy, and player choice. Set in a world where you partake in high-risk operations as a member of a special task unit, you'll engage with objects of extraterrestrial and supernatural origin. The game allows you to tackle missions solo or with friends in cooperative play, transforming each experience into a carefully crafted adventure that relies more on tactics than reflexes.

Genesis Update: A New Era

The January 2026 content update, titled Genesis, marks a significant overhaul for Contain. With the game's entire codebase rewritten, players can expect vastly improved visuals and audio that enhance the overall atmosphere. Previous mission zones are rearranged and filled with new threats, making the familiar feel unsettling. Every element, from weapon handling to player movement, has been redefined, pushing the limits of what tactical shooters can deliver in terms of realism and tension.
