Citadels - Shadow City

Navigate the Shadows in Citadels - Shadow City

In Citadels: Shadow City, players find themselves embroiled in a cunning battle of strategy, deception, and city-building within a dark fantasy medieval world. As you strive to become the Master Builder, the emphasis is not only on constructing the most impressive districts but also on outsmarting your opponents. This turn-based card game thrives on hidden roles, where every move counts, and trust is a luxury you cannot afford.

Mastering Deception with Hidden Roles

Each game begins with players secretly drafting character roles, such as the sly Spy, the affluent Guildmaster, or the unpredictable Alchemist. Each role comes with its own special abilities, from gathering additional resources to protecting your districts. However, your success hinges on your ability to read your opponents. Who is lying? Who is truly out for your downfall? The hidden roles mechanic ensures that every decision must be calculated, as betrayal lurks around every corner.
