Cinders - Xbox One

A Fresh Spin on a Classic Tale

Cinders offers a provocative reimagining of the well-known Cinderella story, focusing on player choices that shape the narrative. Set against a backdrop of fairy tale tropes, this visual novel provides a narrative experience that diverges from traditional expectations. Players take control of Cinders, a clever young woman with an overbearing stepmother and two antagonistic stepsisters, but it's her journey toward autonomy that drives the story forward.

Choices Impacting Destiny

At the heart of Cinders lies a decision-making mechanic that allows players to explore a multitude of outcomes. With over 120 decision points and more than 300 choices, the game invites you to tailor Cinders' character, transforming her from a mere protagonist into a fully fleshed-out individual fighting for her dreams. Each choice influences not just her personality, but also her relationships and the eventual resolution of her story.
