Cheese Runner

Navigate a Cheesy Underworld in Cheese Runner

Cheese Runner thrusts players into a gritty dystopian future where synthetic foods reign supreme and crime trading dominates the underground market. In this retro ASCII-art environment, you take on the role of a Cheese Runner, an underground trader tasked with smuggling illicit cheese in a world where it has become a precious commodity. You’ll need to navigate corporate control and law enforcement as you seek to thrive in this chaotic landscape.

The Rise of Synthetic Foods and Corporate Oppression

After a catastrophic virus decimates livestock, most of humanity faces life under oppressive corporate regimes. Unable to produce natural cheese due to a lack of vital components like casein, the beloved food item is outlawed, cloaked in the pretense of public safety. This sets the stage for a flourishing black market, where daring individuals attempt to reclaim what was lost. As a Cheese Runner, your goal is to slip past the watchful eyes of killbots and sniffcopters to distribute the coveted cowntraband cheese.
