Catnip Wars 2: Empires is a PC space-trading empire game with cats. You begin with a battered freighter and a few thousand credits, then buy goods at one port and sell them at another. Prices and supplies change as ports restock in real time and planets produce goods by the hour. Haggling matters too: the Otters remember insults.

The starting universe has about 20,000 sectors, all active at once. Thirteen NPC factions roam alongside you, expand their territory and pursue their own interests. The Kennel front advances sector by sector, and each jump takes real seconds, so fights play out in front of you rather than being reduced to a result in a log.
