Call of Duty&reg 4: Modern Warfare

Game overview

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a first-person shooter that presents a narrative-driven campaign diverging from the series' previous installments. Set in a contemporary context, it intertwines the stories of two main characters: Sgt. Paul Jackson from the Marines 1st Force Recon and Sgt. 'Soap' MacTavish of the British 22nd SAS Regiment. Players take on the roles of these soldiers as they navigate various military operations.

Campaign structure

Unlike earlier Call of Duty games that feature country-specific campaigns, this installment uses a more cinematic approach. The plot unfolds through interlaced storylines, allowing for a more cohesive tale involving multiple perspectives on the battlefield.
