Butterfly Æffect: Papillons à Quatre Mains is a multi-route visual novel inspired by bishoujo games and early 2000s American anime culture. You play Damien, a freshman at a remote college, and choose how to pursue romance while caught between two pairs of best friends. His choices can affect whether he pursues one person without breaking another’s heart.

The characters

Gabrielle is a prominent member of the anime club and Raine’s best friend and former roommate. Raine is a quiet artist with eccentric tastes. Vi is a graduate student and Damien’s Biology TA; Ollie is her childhood friend, or something more.
