Retro Cashier Challenges Await in Business 98

Business 98 is a unique roguelike deckbuilder and business simulator that transports players back to the hectic world of a 1998 cashier. Set in a retro-inspired environment reminiscent of Windows 95, this game combines arcade machine mechanics with strategic decision-making. Players take on the role of a cashier, processing payments while navigating company goals and challenges each week.

Weekly Scheduling and Randomized Difficulty

At the heart of Business 98 lies a compelling scheduling system. Each week, players can choose their shifts, but there’s a catch: each day’s difficulty is randomly assigned a rating of 1-3 stars. This unpredictability keeps the gameplay fresh and adds an element of strategy, compelling players to adapt their approaches based on the challenges they face. Do you take on a tougher day to maximize your rewards, or opt for an easier shift to play it safe?
