Burning Roots

2D action platformer

Burning Roots is a PC 2D action platformer set in an old castle engulfed by wild magic. Ghosts are memories brought to life by magic, and the castle’s pasts now exist at once. You venture through the danger to stop the source of the magic and uncover secrets of the past.

Attacks and items

The planned combat centers on four different energies that power up attacks. You can combine the energies for more advanced attacks, and gather items to improve yourself. Equipment is also planned as a separate system that will have a larger effect on gameplay than regular items.
