Bright Lights of Svetlov

Step Inside the Soviet Home: Bright Lights of Svetlov

Bright Lights of Svetlov invites players into a meticulous portrayal of family life in a small Soviet town during the mid-1980s. This story-driven experience immerses you in a world where daily routines and the weight of societal pressures shape the lives of its characters. As you engage with the mundane aspects of life, you'll witness the gradual descent of this community under the harshest trials of the era, creating a poignant narrative that lingers after the final credits roll.

Daily Life and Uneventful Routine

In this PC game, the focus lies heavily on the interactions within a family's home. Players navigate through monotonous tasks and simple activities that reflect the repetitive nature of life in a Soviet town. Doing dishes, attending to chores, and interacting with family members provide a striking contrast to the broader socio-political backdrop. This emphasis on linear gameplay enhances the emotional weight of every decision, making even the most trivial tasks feel significant.
