BrideOfDawn

Premise and setting

BrideOfDawn is a choice-driven visual novel for PC, set around Cheonhwadang on Mt. Inwang. Video editor Han Doyun returns there after his shaman grandmother dies, following a phone call after fifteen years of silence. He meets three women: Seo Hwayeon, his grandmother’s spirit-daughter; Saebyeok, a woman in a white dress no one else seems to see; and Cha Surin, who was filming the grandmother’s last documentary.

Each says Doyun must marry before the wedding rite on the forty-ninth night or he won’t live. One is the true bride, another came to take him away, and the grandmother’s death wasn’t natural.
