Borrowed Thyme

Managing Chaos in Borrowed Thyme

In Borrowed Thyme, a twist on the cooking game genre, players must juggle the frantic demands of a bustling restaurant while avoiding their own past mistakes. Each round begins with crafting a specific order. However, the challenge intensifies when time rewinds as soon as the order is completed. This mechanic forces you to navigate past versions of yourself, all attempting to fulfill the same meal order.

Confronting Time in the Kitchen

As demands ramp up, players tread a delicate balance between speed and strategy. Making an order is only the beginning; once your initial task is done, the game's rewind mechanic reintroduces chaos. You’ll have to dodge your previous self, making for a tense atmosphere akin to a bullet hell game. Learning to maneuver away from your former actions while staying focused on new orders keeps the gameplay engaging and unpredictable.
