Book Smugglers

Unveiling a Hidden History in Book Smugglers

In Book Smugglers, a narrative point-and-click adventure game for PC, players are thrust into the shadows of 19th-century Lithuania. As a member of the underground network known as the "knygnešiai," you face immense risks to protect a forbidden language under the oppressive Tsarist regime. The objective is clear: navigate dangerous missions while keeping literature alive, but the journey is fraught with moral choices and strategic planning.

Crafting Your Strategy: Supplies and Choices Matter

Managing resources is pivotal in Book Smugglers. Each mission presents limited supplies, like food, money, and books, which will influence your strategy. Players must think critically about what items to carry, as every decision weighs heavily on how a mission unfolds. The tension lies in not being able to take everything; it's a game of trade-offs where choices ripple through the narrative.
