Bifröst: Prelude to the Storm

A Chaotic World Awaits in Bifröst: Prelude to the Storm

In Bifröst: Prelude to the Storm, players are thrust into a richly layered narrative set within the Ormos-Topos Union. This PC game unfolds in a dystopian landscape where the Human Alliance maintains a repressive surveillance state. Here, survival hinges on strict social hierarchies, and the public execution of Halves, beings with mammalian traits, has become a grim form of entertainment. The story revolves around Hara, a level-5 human struggling to navigate this oppressive environment.

A Yearning for Freedom in a Suffering Society

Hara's life takes a dramatic turn when an encounter with Akatora, a dying TigerHalve and the Alliance's most wanted terrorist, shatters his careful routine. The initial meeting sparks a series of events spiraling into a resistance movement against the authoritarian regime. As he becomes embroiled in the underground war, Hara is forced to confront not only his secrets but also the restrictive boundaries of a society that criminalizes love and desire.
