Beyond the Cradle

A persistent civilisation sim

Beyond the Cradle is a PC strategy game about growing a civilisation from one homeworld into a network of worlds. You manage colonies, research, logistics and fleets across a galaxy that keeps running while the game is closed. When you return, a briefing reports what happened in your absence.

Time and distance shape your decisions. Resources travel by shipment, fleets take time to arrive and need supplies, and distant colonies must support themselves. Older systems still matter because they feed and support the frontier, so expanding means planning how goods and support will reach new settlements.
