Beyond Critical

Beyond Critical: A New Take on Versus Brawlers

Beyond Critical takes the sci-fi brawler genre and turns it on its head. Players engage in frenetic battles for control over a supermassive black hole. In this chaotic 2 to 4-player experience, the goal isn't just to defeat your opponents but to strategically grow until reaching critical mass, and then explode for points. The idea of blowing up as a victory condition is both entertaining and a refreshing twist in competitive gameplay.

Choose Your Fighting Style with Ability Classes

Four distinctive character classes ensure a variety of playstyles, each with their unique abilities. Players can opt for Photon, who unleashes devastating laser beams to stun rivals, or Electron, who manipulates time to gain the upper hand. Neutrino emphasizes speed, utilizing teleportation for quick repositioning, while Gravitron uses gravitational force to push opponents around. These choices encourage diverse strategies, making each match feel fresh and engaging.
