Quake-style duels

BANDA SHAFT DUEL is a first-person arena shooter for PC built around Lightning Gun duels against a bot modeled on Quake Live players. You fight in one-on-one practice matches, aiming and dodging against an opponent whose movement and aim are based on real player data. The game has three difficulty tiers, from casual to near-professional, and no matchmaking or wait for an opponent.

Aim and movement drills

Several match rules target habits that aim trainers don't address. Hand decoupling scrambles your WASD inputs at random, so your movement no longer follows a predictable pattern. With the rear-hitbox rule, shots only count on the back half of a strafing target, which trains you to lead your aim. Screen-center discipline keeps only the exact center of the screen clear, pushing you to keep the opponent centered rather than chase their model.
