Backmooms

Getting Lost in Backmooms

Backmooms invites players into an uncanny first-person adventure where familiar spaces become a haunting maze. After an innocent day of shopping, you find yourself trapped in a series of unsettling yellow rooms that echo with a sense of déjà vu. The claustrophobic atmosphere intensifies as a monstrous entity begins to pursue you, pushing the narrative forward through tension and eerie exploration.

The Chilling Pursuit of Escape

As players navigate the repetitive layout of Backmooms, the gameplay unfolds through a walking simulator format. You’ll encounter various objects that aid in piecing together the backstory. Unlike most games, players will find no textual hints or dialogues, expect to derive meaning solely from your environment and the strange occurrences that unfold around you. The absence of traditional storytelling enhances the sense of isolation and urgency.
