Tactical RPG on a hex board

Ashen Marches is a PC turn-based tactical RPG about two heroes crossing burned borderland toward a dragon. You fight on a hex grid, moving and attacking while managing a shared purse and keeping both characters alive. The road has three stretches, each ending at a fortified keep, with the dragon waiting in a cave beyond.

Attacks, parries, dodges and initiative use pools of six-sided dice. Skill, equipment and taking aim can add dice; you roll and count successes to see what happens. When an enemy attacks, its dice roll first, then you choose to parry, dodge or take the hit.
