Arcane Chess Realm is a free online 1v1 tactics game for PC, built around chess-inspired piece movement and deckbuilding. You move pieces across an arcane battlefield, play cards to create openings, and try to defeat the opposing commander while keeping your own safe. Five piece types each have their own movement rules.
Cards can grant extra movement, teleportation, protection or revival. Others reveal or disrupt your opponent’s hand. The aim is to find useful combinations while accounting for the positions of both armies and the danger to your commander.
