Alien Skies is a PC side-scrolling shoot ’em up with RPG-style progression. You pilot a ship against an extraterrestrial invasion, fighting through linear missions filled with alien enemies, hazardous environments, and bosses. Between missions, you return to space stations to choose operations and prepare your ship.

Stations and loadouts

At each station, you can buy and sell ships, weapons, and ship components, then equip a loadout to suit your approach. Missions on the board connect different stations across the galaxy, so you choose which operation to take rather than following a single linear route. Upgrades let you build from the starter ship toward a more heavily equipped craft.
