Alembic

Chemistry in a Falling-Sand Sandbox: Alembic

In Alembic, players traverse a fascinating realm of chemistry, where the fundamental elements of the periodic table are more than mere symbols. Set on PC, this falling-sand sandbox game allows users to interact with chemical elements through realistic properties and reactions. Pour, burn, shake, and explode your way through a wondrous laboratory filled with enchanting experiments that mirror real-life chemical behavior.

Realistic Element Interaction and Reactions

The magic lies in the way each element behaves according to its scientific nature. For example, when sodium meets water, players won't just see fizz; they'll witness a dramatic ignition, replicating actual chemical reactions. Whether it's grinding aluminum to create thermite or crafting galvanic cells to illuminate a bulb, every interaction feels thoughtfully designed and grounded in real-world chemistry.
