Ajayu

Ajayu: A Spiritual Adventure Across the Atacama Desert

In Ajayu, players step into the shoes of Alaya, a young boy on a heartfelt quest through the challenging environment of the Atacama Desert. This adventure and puzzle game puts you in control of Alaya as he navigates not only the physical perils of the world's driest desert but also the spiritual challenges that arise following a life-altering accident. His journey embodies both a search for his ancestors’ resting place and a struggle for survival.

Alaya's Unusual Ability to Navigate Two Worlds

After a near-fatal incident, Alaya acquires the extraordinary power to separate his Ajayu, his soul, from his physical body. This unique mechanic allows players to explore the desert in two dimensions: as a child grounded in reality and as a spirit communicating with friendly supernatural beings. This duality is essential for solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles, both seen and unseen, within the game.
