A Walk to the Stars is a PC spaceflight game about progressing from early rockets to deep-space exploration. You design rockets by choosing their mass, thrust and stages, then launch them and follow their calculated trajectories from liftoff to orbit. The game presents this as a gradual introduction to rocketry rather than a heavy management game or hardcore simulator.

From Earth to space

The progression starts with the first rockets and orbits, then moves outward to exploration of the solar system. You learn how launches work as you leave Earth, find your way around near space and head farther out. The game’s focus is on watching launches and spaceflight, with each shot composed to look like a painting.
