A Respectable Family

An obituary and a missing classmate

A Respectable Family is a PC investigation game set during the last day of the Chuseok holiday. You play Jung So-yoon, a proofreader who receives an obituary from former high-school classmate Seo Jae-yoon at 1:47 a.m. He says he has something to give back, but when you try to call him the next morning, he doesn’t answer. The obituary has changed, and his name is no longer at the top as the family representative. His family says he’s resting. The funeral procession leaves at 7 a.m. the next day.

You investigate what happened to Jae-yoon and what took place one night fourteen years earlier. The trail runs through three generations of his family, with 86 names to identify.
