Timed waves

2D Hates 3D is a PC wave-based action game about a 2D commander defending the 2D universe from invading 3D shapes. You shoot 3D enemies and command 2D allies, clearing each timed wave before it runs out. Destroyed enemies bring new allies to your cause.

Allies and upgrades

You can command Swarm, Rocketeers, Orbiters and Cannoneers. A skill tree has more than 200 upgrades for the Commander and allies, which you’ll need as stronger enemies arrive. The 5+ enemy types include blinking Cones, Shields, Snipers and Exploders.
