Wars Across the World: Genghis 1207

Genghis 1207 campaign

Wars Across the World: Genghis 1207 is a campaign DLC for Wars Across The World, set during the Mongol conquests of northern China. Across 27 turns, each representing a year from 1207 to 1234, two players fight over the Mongols’ campaign against the Jin dynasty and Western Xia.

Factions and strategy

One player commands the Mongol nomads, who can ally with the Southern Song Chinese. The other represents the northern Chinese empires, including the Jin, alongside surrounding kingdoms such as Xixia, Tibet and Korea. Mongol forces are relatively small but effective, while the Jin have large armies and fortresses and can rebuild troops quickly. The Jin is the more difficult side to play.
