Nioh 3 Hell Rising

DLC details for Nioh 3: Hell Rising

Nioh 3: Hell Rising is a downloadable content expansion for the base game Nioh 3, set in 1651 during the Keian era. The story unfolds in Edo, which has become a chaotic battleground overrun by various enemies, including Yokai and human rebels. Players take on the role of Takechiyo as they navigate this hostile environment.

Combat and weapons

The game introduces new combat mechanics, specifically new hoko and shield weapon sets. These sets allow you to execute both basic attacks and tactical moves, such as defending with the shield while attacking with a short spear or throwing the shield at enemies. This adds variety to combat strategies during encounters.
