Musical Themes and Composition Techniques

The composer approached the project with a distinct philosophy: to evoke the peculiar nature of dreams through unconventional instrumentation. Wood incorporates various instruments like the toy piano, mbira, and hang drum, creating a soundscape that feels both familiar and alien. The use of de-tuned instruments layered with traditional sounds produces a sensation of dislocation, perfect for the game's themes.
