About Xbox Gift Card
An Xbox Gift Card adds money to your Microsoft account balance. You can spend it in the Microsoft Store on Xbox, on Windows and online.
How to redeem
- Sign in to the Microsoft account that should get the money. Once a code is redeemed, Xbox Support can't move it to another account.
- Go to xbox.com/redeem and enter the 25-character code.
On a console, press the Xbox button to open the guide, select Store, press the View button and choose Redeem. In the Xbox app for Windows, select your gamerpic, then Settings, then Redeem. In the Xbox mobile app, open your profile, select the gear icon and choose Redeem code.
Microsoft may ask you to add a payment method before you redeem. You are not charged when the code is redeemed.
Regions and currency
A card's currency can only be added to an account registered in a country where that currency is official. The balance can't be converted to another currency later. A US dollar card, for example, can only be spent in the US store.
Some codes are also made for one country or region and won't redeem on an account set to another. The region shown with each offer here comes from the seller's listing. If a code you bought doesn't match your account's region, Microsoft says to contact the seller.
