About Nintendo eShop Gift Card

A Nintendo eShop Card adds funds to the Nintendo eShop balance on your Nintendo Account. You spend that balance in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

How to redeem

  1. Open Nintendo eShop from the HOME Menu and pick the account to use.
  2. On the left of the screen, select Enter Code or Redeem Code. The label depends on your region.
  3. Enter the 16-character code and select OK.
  4. Select Confirm, then Add Funds. The funds go straight to your balance.

Codes never use the letters O, I or Z.

Regions and currency

Nintendo says eShop Cards are specific to one country. They only redeem on a Nintendo Account set to that country, and physical cards show the country on the back. Nintendo's European support adds one exception: a card can be used in any country that uses the same currency. A euro card bought in France, for example, also works on an account set to Germany.

Nintendo can't exchange a card for one from another country. The region shown with each offer here comes from the seller's listing, so match it to your account's country before you buy.
