戦う情報システム部

Incident response adventure

戦う情報システム部 is a PC incident-response adventure about being the sole IT worker at a struggling company. You arrive after the previous systems administrator has disappeared, with unfinished handover notes and executives using the same password. Over 104 episodes, you handle late-night calls and unreasonable requests by typing Linux commands, then respond when the company’s monitoring system is hijacked and shared folders are encrypted.

Linux command line

You use 80 real commands, including cd, ls, grep, awk and ssh. Commands can be joined with pipes to sift through 20,000 lines of logs for eight suspicious entries, or to stop 12 runaway processes in one line. The game’s commands and error messages are close to their real-world counterparts; its manual explains where they differ.
