Genre and premise

新人類コンプレックス is a cinematic text adventure set in the year 256 of the Stellar Calendar. The story follows Solaris, a biological environmental scientist, on a mission to find a new habitable planet for her dying homeworld, Terra Prime. Alongside her robot assistant G-30, she responds to a distress signal, leading her to an abandoned spaceship. Players interact with the game primarily through text, making choices that affect the narrative and exploring the ship's environment.

Exploring the spaceship

In the game, you explore various rooms and corridors of the derelict ship, examining abandoned objects and uncovering traces from the past. These objects trigger memories of past inhabitants, allowing you to experience their stories and how they intersect with Solaris's mission. The exploration reveals the ship's history and provides insight into the lives of three different characters from separate timelines.
