Station management

Xenograd is a PC space station management sim about building a rotating station from doughnut-shaped rings, each with three levels. You assign zones and buildings, expand by adding rings at either end, or attach abandoned derelicts after clearing out whatever lives inside.

The ten zone types include port, crew, industrial, agricultural, entertainment, relaxation, resort, urban, spiritual and diplomatic. More than 200 buildings range from capsule hotels and noodle bars to quasar spas, opera halls, spawning pools and the Hall of Arguments. You also choose an atmosphere for each zone: oxygen, methane or helium. Aliens in air they can't breathe need helmets, while walls with airlocks separate different atmospheres.
