A climb through Wyrmhold

Wyrmhold is a first-person dungeon-crawling roguelike with turn-based, card-driven combat. Each run climbs through a fortress built into a crag, starting in the forest and continuing through caves, a crypt and a cemetery before reaching the castle and the dragon at its top. Between fights, you walk through rooms, choose doors and break open things you find.

Cards and combat

Enemies telegraph what they intend to do one turn ahead. You respond using the cards in your hand: each card is an action your hero performs, such as slashing, raising a shield or casting a fireball. The fight is shaped by effects including Block, Bleed, Burn, Strength, Weak and Vulnerable, as well as each hero’s own abilities.
