Premise and setting

Whisperborne is a classic JRPG set in the continent of Mira, where a divine sword named Marintika has left a history of tragedy and slaughter. The story revolves around a traveler who hears the call of the blade that has been sealed for three thousand years. The narrative unfolds across 200 episodes released in three parts, with new chapters provided weekly. Prominent locations in the game include Andia, the holy capital, and Yonggol, a village overshadowed by the Sunset Church.

Combat and weapons

The game features turn-based combat influenced by six elemental affinities: fire, water, wind, earth, light, and dark. Each element counters another, adding a strategic layer to battles. Players can build a party with distinct roles such as tank, damage dealer, healer, and support. Combat allows players to create skill chains to maximize damage output, and auto-battle is an option for those who prefer automated play. Weapons play a crucial role, with one main weapon defining the protagonist's element and ultimate ability and nine sub-weapons providing various passive stats.
