Story and setting

We'll Meet Again is an interactive story for PC about five people grieving Pietro, who died by suicide. Over the course of a year, his friends return to his attic room to take something of his. The bass guitar, CDs, plush turtle and photo album bring back memories of the abandoned places they explored together, along with anger, guilt and things they never said.

The story moves through five points of view, with each chapter set in a different season. Pietro’s friends revisit their memories and, in dreams, get to ask him questions they couldn’t ask while he was alive. The final chapter shifts to Pietro as he faces the people he left behind and the question they need answered: why?
