Dungeon building and descent

Wardens of the Deep is a PC RPG about building a dungeon and descending into the depths beneath it. You’re an unseen Warden bound to a core of stone and fire. Workers dig through living rock, claim tiles at a stone cost, and bring the mined stone home. You decide where to cut corridors, then paint rooms such as forges, libraries, crypts, training halls, rest rooms and guard posts.

Your dungeon’s heart grows through five tiers as you descend. Torches push back the dark, and some creatures won’t cross into the light until enough torches have gathered. The home base also faces sieges: raiders attack its gate while sappers tunnel toward the heart.
