War Company: Fortress Europe

Commanding the European Theatre in WARCOM: Fortress Europe

WARCOM: Fortress Europe places you in the epicenter of WWII's European conflict, where strategic thinking and tactical execution intertwine. As a historical wargame for PC, it reveals the complexities of warfare from D-Day to the Rhine. Using a hybrid operational-tactical approach, you will engage with both the broader strategic landscape and the gritty details of ground combat, all on a seamless 3D pixel-rendered battlefield.

Operational Layer: Command Division-Level Warfare

At the operational level, players manage division-level strategies across an expansive hex-based model of Europe. Every aspect is interconnected; logistics are crucial, with supply chains influenced by depots, roads, and fuel networks. As battles unfold, momentum and casualties shift the front lines, while dynamic weather adds an additional layer of challenge. Terrain features like elevation, rivers, and dense vegetation demand careful maneuvering, compelling you to consider the environment in every decision.
