Vestige

A narrative adventure

Vestige is a third-person narrative adventure for PC about Paul, who wakes on a mysterious island with no memory of his past. You explore the island and find crystals containing memories. Each one brings a moment from Paul’s life back into view, gradually revealing how he ended up there and what happened in his relationship with his wife.

The island and grief

The island’s areas represent stages of grief, with their surroundings reflecting Paul’s inner state. You travel through natural landscapes and more surreal locations, each revealing another part of his story. The setting changes as the narrative moves between different emotions and stages of Paul’s response to loss.
