Vela

Card scoring

Vela is a PC card game based on the 1991 game Heaven & Earth. You make groups of cards called tricks and try to score as many points as possible. Each card has a landscape, an element and a season, and all three affect a trick’s score.

Celestial phenomena

The game has 22 celestial phenomena that can multiply a trick’s total score. Some combinations of phenomena have special effects, so the score depends on both the cards in a trick and the phenomena that apply to it.
